IPL Cheerleaders' saga

Distract the recent statement of the vice-captain of the Indian cricket team on the presence of players like cheerleaders, "I do not get distracted person", "If people are distracted, it is their own fault, I suppose," many people have occasion to comment for or against his statements. Since the 17th Century, the game of cricket is played in India, and we have never heard of cheerleaders. It is only when the IPL began in 2008 that the Indian audiences began to appreciate blond, brunet and red heads, dancing in groups in their tight clothes with pom-poms in their hands when cricketer hits a boundary or leaves. The music starts for a short time on these occasions, and they begin to dance. There was a time when the audience speculate on the uniforms of the players for the game beyond their power today is used, it is to dress these cheerleaders.

Mahila Congress also made a lot of noise on the presence of these young girls in Sawai Man Singh stadium in Jaipur during the IPL match in 2008. They were angry about the skin shows these cheerleader outfits and found to be a shameful deed, a little performance Sun As a result, government should have cheerleaders during the games in the stadium and manager Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab team, forbid to obey him. If the noise is all about her short dresses and provocative, although it can be changed. Recently, the group leader Subrata Roy Sahara had made an announcement, "Cheer ladies would run and ethnic Indian classical dance instead of Western-style cheerleaders." If you are interested in more information about the development, online sports pictures.

It's not just the audience to create the controversy over the cheerleaders, but these girls also, from time to time, blog comments, to create new ones. 22 years as South African cheerleader Gabriella Pasqualotto, who blogged for Mumbai Indians, that Australian cricket "Fun but naughty" and Indian cricket are "polished and well-behaved." These comments were promoting was quite nice but it does not stop there. She called Cheerleader "on porn" and, of course, was fired for it.

When women get offended, are cheerleaders called indecent and players distracted and find it difficult to give a good performance in their presence. (Except of course Virat Kohli) What is the use of these leaders acclamation then? Is it just for girls cheer the audience or is it just an attempt to Indian Sports entertainment programs such as streaming cricket is in a gold mine turned update. Is our favorite games of cricket survive without cheerleaders? It can not only for the audience. By default, you feel happy when the team is performing well as by scantily-clad dancers outside the pavilion to be distracted. Should we hide the bad players behind after poor performance, leaving the blame on these girls? Cricket has its own fame. We should stay free, as it always has been and there is not a pinch of doubt can survive without their jubilation.

Impossible for anybody to reach Sachin’s landmark: Gilchrist

The former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist and explosive opens believe there is a huge gap between Sachin Tendulkar and the rest of the batsmen a high level, something that is almost impossible that someone, somewhere, get near the emblem makes the legend of the 100 international centuries.

Giving the example of Ricky Ponting, who recently said of ODI format retired Gilchrist Tendulkar 29 centuries separated from his former captain.

"This speaks volumes about the size Tendulkar - .. The gap between him and the rest of it is very early, I really doubt that anyone can ever beat that record," said Gilchirst PTI in an interview in Mohali.

"When you look at the documents that come to Ponting the best drummer in the world is Tendulkar. But its combined balance sheet (test and one-day century) was 71 (41-30)," he said.

Critics could argue that Tendulkar has more games against countries like Zimbabwe and Bangladesh played, he said, adding, though 10 centuries have been added to Ponting, it would still be 19 centuries later.

"Folder Tendulkar is truly unique, remarkable. He plays with the same intensity in the last 22 years ... This shows how great a player is Tendulkar," he said.

Gilchrist, the portion of a page, the invincible world cricket was dominated, won a hat-trick of World Cup 1999-2007 against the Indians need to be patient in the coming days.

"Rahul Dravid VVS Laxman retired ... Now only Tendulkar and play. It would be a big boots to fill, if Tendulkar goes. We faced a similar phase. But fans have for the patient," he said.

Gilchrist believes that the Indian cricket talent in abundance, but the fans to practice patience.

"Certainly there is no shortage of talent in India. In fact, his is just the opposite. Fans only patients with young people as Virat Kohli," he said.

With his latest exploits, Kohli proved he was ready to step up and agreed to by Australia: "For me it is one of the best players in world cricket right now."

Asked if the gap Kohli, the No. 3 slot Dravid could fill, Gilchrist said: "He is a player to come, I know not his preference, and I do not want to form an opinion about him ... He showed that he very confident, is against the new ball. There is of course a major player in the production is. "

The Kings XI coach-cum-captain of the next IPL, does not agree that the Gilchrist Twenty20 cricket and the reason for India's defeats in the last series overseas in England and Australia was.

India were ill prepared for the Australian tour set very professionally against an attack, the pressure on the batsmen, he said.

"Twenty20 is a very exciting concept that requires skills at a high level. It takes a lot of thought, and you have to keep the intensity and pace coupled with the pressure.

Am (But) I'm sure that test cricket is the ultimate, "he said.

"The challenge for managers is not to overdo it .... If managed properly, there is room for all three formats," he said, giving the example of poor planning of the T20-off against South Africa in Johannesburg

Ravindra Jadeja versatile crickter was for $ 2,000,000 at an auction sale in Bangalore Indian Premier League on Saturday, but missed a number of big names.

The reigning champions IPL Chennai Super Kings, by the head of the Indian cricket Narayanaswamy Srinivasan heard Jadeja bagged the 23 years after an intense bidding war with Deccan Chargers.

Jadeja colleagues joined India Gautam Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan, Robin Uthappa and Rohit Sharma in the $ 2 million-a-year to support the money-spinning Twenty20 league.

Only 17 of the 144 Indian and foreign players who had already thrown their hat into the ring found to be limited due to the liberation of the morning session of the auction, the player who was not already targeted for each team.

The main beneficiaries were the Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene, bought by Delhi Daredevils for $ 1.4 million, and India seamer Vinay Kumar, who seek $ 1.0 million for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

New Zealand wicket-keeper Brendon McCullum went to Kolkata Knight Riders for $ 900,000, while 41 years was spinner Brad Hogg in Australia picked up by Rajasthan Royals for $ 180,000.

Bigger surprise, however, was the list of players who have missed.

There were no takers for England, James Anderson, Graeme Swann, Ian Bell, Ravi Bopara and Matt Prior

Veteran Indian batsman Venkatsai Laxman struggling to keep his place in the Indian test team was also sold. Australian fast bowler Even as Peter Siddle has been ignored.

Jadeja, Jayawardene, Kumar and McCullum was one of the now defunct franchise Kochi Tuskers, the tournament played in the last year before they thrown out of the IPL in September for nonpayment of fees.

Deductibles spent money to their lines in the fifth edition of the IPL, between 4 April and 27 May be played strengthened

Much depended on the availability of players for the week of September-76-match tournament.

Test Cricket going to Disappear?

Former Australian Cricket captain Ricky Ponting made a witty remark. He said "Formerly when we learnt batting we were told that we would have to bat until the bowlers could take the wicket." But the scenario is very different today. The concept that attempts to share with we Ponting is very appropriate in the cricket test. But today we watching and praising the new format of Twenty20 Cricket. If I am correct test cricket nostalgia is now gradually declining. like a real cricket fan, I am very concerned about the future of Test cricket.
Cricket fans who truly understand, cricket, agree with my view that the future of Test cricket is in danger. A real question arises, our mind with this thought will gradually die of test cricket? It can not be denied that the hype recent Twenty20 cricket test cricket has lost its former place. This seems really sad for me as a lover of cricket. Seeing is a new addition always welcome, but that does not mean we should forget our past.

Growing up we saw a lot of great players who have performed well in test cricket. Some of them are still in progress with the new form, but most of them retired. Legendary spinner Warne, Kumble, Murali have already retired. Pace bowler Wasim Akram has Mcgrath Cricket Farewell offer several days earlier. Some of the famous cricketers Sachin as always Kallis continued their efforts as well as other big names like Steve Waugh, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Brian Lara have retired. Of course, the attraction of test cricket disappeared with them.

If we in our childhood we have been longing for the Ashes series to see India-Pakistan Test series, Sri Lanka and Australia test series etc. But today, even the heavy line are also losing the interest of fans. Many are in my opinion, be a match for today's IPL have more than one call sets agree Ashes test series. It's really heart pain for fans like me.

Modern life has become hectic. People have become faster. A short 20 of the game is perfectly acceptable for them instead of a test match five days long. I speak from my experience that people in droves to watch a game T20 rather than a test match. The media also create an additional hype for the IPL tournament championship and other events.

There are some financial reasons, the Twenty20 matches so popular. Since the T20 games are watched by many people, the organizer has several sponsors. Today, most sponsors prefer, with a limited advertising on cricket matches. Since this game limited to generate more revenue, the board also want this mostly to organize. These forms are limited to the crowds. Therefore, many people flock to him.

Another important point is that it makes it more popular, its entertainment section. The tournament IPL, BCCI is generally translated a great crowd puller. One of the most exciting aspects of this tournament is part of the conversation. Cheerleaders, Bollywood celebrities, programs sponsored parties after the game, so an additional stimulation of the tournament. Twenty20 matches are also a great income opportunity for young players.

But at the same time we must keep in mind that test cricket is an art. The ability of a player really is in this form of cricket evaluated. We must preserve this form. I also liked Twenty20 matches, but honestly, I would never like to see disappear Test cricket. What do you think?
